Marsha Herschberger and her sons welcome you to enjoy your stay in Central Illinois with a visit to their cottage home, built in Spring 2000 by a local Amish contractor. The one and one-half story salt-box cottage includes two spacious suites.

The Garden Room:
Large suite overlooking the garden. Decorated in country motif that makes the room cozy and inviting. French door leading out to patio. Queen & single-size bed. Private bath. Central air. TV with VCR.
The Loft:
Venture upstairs to a tastefully decorated, large suite in Amish decor. Quilts made by local Amish women. Small library with sitting room. King & single-size bed. Private bath. Central air. TV with VCR.
Evening activities
Guests may select a video from the house selection, cards & board games, enjoy sitting on the patio at sunset, or stroll around our quaint village. Bicycles and jogging are available for exercise enthusiasts. A driving range is within two-minute walking distance. A gas grill is available for evening cookouts.

We are open seven days a week all year round.

To guarantee reservations, an advance deposit is required. We accept cash or checks. Cancellations must be received at least four days prior to the scheduled arrival date. Check-in time is 4 p.m.; check-out time is 10 a.m.
Room rates
$92.50 (per couple) plus tax
$15 per extra person (more than two)
Policies
We do not allow smoking, alcohol or pets. We are not handicapped accessible. Children are welcome with responsible parents -- ask about our treehouse option!

Rural living and traditional values are evident in this central Illinois area, which is noted for the Amish families and the simple way of life. The Amish families in this area are skilled in several areas. Some make beautiful wood furniture, while others are noted for their beautiful quilts and homemade pies. Every turn in the road leads to a restaurant with home-cooked meals.
